Welcome to Tohoku University Foreign Students Association
The Tohoku University Foreign Students Association (TUFSA) has been working for the past 45 years on behalf of the International Students of Tohoku University, Sendai. TUFSA is in charge of developing supportive events and facilities for International Students at Tohoku University.
Whether it is by means of International Exchange events- ranging from International Festivals (3000 visitors per year, over 20 countries represented) to Welcome Parties for new-comers- or by our International Support Department, TUFSA aims to make your experience in Sendai as an International Student an unforgettable one.
Every TUFSA Project or Event is planified carefully and passionately. We love working with International Students for the sake of International Students, and at the same time we contribute to the creation of a creative, tolerant, cosmopolitan, dynamic and international environment in the Tohoku Prefecture.
