Tohoku University International Festival (TUIF), organized by the cooperation between international and Japanese students in
Tohoku University, is the largest international exchange event in Tohoku with more than 3,000 attendees every year.
We would like to announce that the TUIF will be celebrated together again with the spirit of diversity and unity.

The 36th Tohoku University International Festival (TUIF) will be held on October 8 (Sun), 2023.

We are proud to introduce the theme of this year: "The World on a Plate" which highlights the idea that food is a universal language
and a gateway to understanding different cultures. Each region and country has its own unique culinary heritage,
cooking techniques, and signature dishes.

Let's embark on a global culinary adventure, tasting the diverse flavors
and exploring the rich cultural tapestry that our world has to offer!
